Privacy Policy

Who we are

Our website address is: https://hullcity.org.uk. We are a completely independent, non-profit, fan-run website dedicated to Hull City AFC. We serve as a digital hub for both current news and historical archives for Chinese-speaking fans. We are not affiliated with, officially endorsed by, or connected to Hull City AFC in any legal or official capacity.

Comments

As this website does not offer user accounts or public commenting features, the comment function is permanently disabled. We operate primarily as a read-only platform for news and archival content. We do not collect any data from comment forms, nor do we collect the visitor’s IP address or browser user agent string for spam detection in this context. An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) will not be provided to the Gravatar service, as public engagement features are completely turned off.

Media

Public visitors are strictly prohibited from registering or uploading files to this website. Therefore, you do not need to worry about uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included, and we will not collect, store, or distribute any personal media files from visitors.

Cookies

Because user registration, commenting, and logging in are disabled, we do not deploy any cookies related to saving your name, email address, login sessions, or screen display choices. We strictly only use essential, non-identifying technical cookies required by our infrastructure providers (e.g., Cloudflare) to ensure basic website security, routing, and protection against malicious network traffic. No third-party tracking or advertising cookies are utilized.

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, historical images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website. These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

Who we share your data with

Since we operate a zero-personal-data policy and do not allow user registrations, we have no personal data to share. You cannot request a password reset, so your IP address will not be included in any reset emails. Anonymous network traffic and routing data are processed automatically by our hosting and CDN providers purely for server health and DDoS mitigation purposes.

What rights you have over your data

Because you cannot have an account on this site, and cannot leave comments, we do not hold any personal data about you. Consequently, there is no personal data file to export, nor is there any personal data you can request that we erase.

Where your data is sent

Visitor comments are not checked through an automated spam detection service because comments are disabled. Anonymous security logs generated by website traffic are processed within secure UK/EU jurisdictions. Furthermore, this website explicitly does not provide services to, nor target, users located in Mainland China. Therefore, we do not fall under the jurisdiction of the Personal Information Protection Law (PIPL) of Mainland China.
